4-H Miniature Horse Show NWMF 2009

2007-2008

Here it is, another year has passed and we are beginning our second year of the miniature horse project in Flathead County. It has been fun and this year should be even more of a learning experience. The local small equine club that has been started in Flathead Valley (Little Hooves & Harnesses) has voiced their interest in the 4-H group and are very interested in helping out with shows and teaching the kids about showing their minis. We are looking forward to a GREAT year.

Miniatures in 4-H

2006-2007

This year in Flathead County we have started a 4-H Miniature Horse Project. We will have showmanship, obstacle, jumping, ground driving and costume. We have 3 grandkids who are competing at our local fair in the project in August. It is entirely new to us, as it is to the kids.

This page is devoted to that program, with pictures of practicing and clinics. As they come available we will add fair pictures. Say a little prayer for success in this program in our county.
